If you’re travelling on the Riviera Line in Torbay this week (18-22 November 2013), look out for the passenger survey being circulated by our friendly team – your chance to help us prioritise improvements for the future.

The survey (available here as a PDF) gives passengers the chance to tell Citizens’ Rail about their journey and to give us your views about the stations and services on the Riviera Line (Exeter to Paignton).
It will be followed next week with a passenger count to establish baseline statistics for how many people are currently using the line, before the improved services begin on 9th December.

One response to “Passenger surveys on the Riviera Line”
I have been using St. Thomas Station for the last nearly 70 years with my parents, now me, my children and my grandchildren. Although I use the railway mainly for leisure I find it very good, always on time and not too expensive. Great to see the damage at Dawlish repaired and long may it last.
Improvements 1. I have seen a lot of people get on at St.Thomas and go to Dawlish Warren etc: and not paid due to the volume of people and the guard not being able to get to everyone. This should be addressed as everyone should pay
Improvement 2. The platform at St. Thomas is quite low or the train is quite high but understand that work to remedy this would be expensive.
Improvement 3. Bring back the Runabout ticket that we had in the sixties !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
