Encouraging more people to try the train
For the Riviera Line to fulfil its potential, we need to encourage even more people to travel by train. As part of Citizens’ Rail, we mounted a marketing campaign to let people in the local area know about the more frequent services on the line and great value fares.
Equally importantly we worked to spread the word in local newspapers, on Twitter (via @citizensrail and @dcrailpart) and through local networks about the chance to get involved in groups like the Friends of Dawlish Station and Friends of Teignmouth Station.
